C/C++/C#

The Toronto Area C/C++/C# User Group is a user group in the process of being born. So please bear with us as we get this community going.

This group is meant to promote and share and enthusiasm for C-style languages (which currently includes C, C++, and C#) socially in the Toronto area, and globally through the internet.

Canadian Linux Users' Exchange

Our goal is to increase the use and appreciation of Linux in Canada by enhancing association and communication amongst its developers, users, suppliers and the general public.

To do this, we support the development of Linux User Groups, and coordinate events, corporate sponsorships and publicity at a national level.

Founded in June 2001, FlashinTo is a group of dedicated industry professionals committed to the development of the Canadian and GTA Flash community. In December of 2001, FlashinTo was offically made a Macromedia Flash Users group.

Greater Toronto Area BSD User Group

The Greater Toronto Area BSD Users Group is a group of hobbyists, and professionals, who have an interest in BSD Unix Operating Systems. New members and new BSD users are welcome. We meet regularly to discuss all things BSD. Joining this user group is as simple as joining the mailing list and is the best way to find out about the next meeting and a great way to get any questions you have about any BSD OS answered. Please introduce yourself when you join, let us know who you are and what you are interested in learning about BSD.

Joomla! User Group Toronto

Joomla! User Group Toronto was formed as a direct forum to network with Joomla! users and developers, to share best practices and to ask other users for help. It currently hosts online forum Groups on Google, Facebook and LinkedIn and holds meetings in the Toronto area.

Interested parties, both current Joomla! users and those curious about Joomla!, are encouraged to get involved. There is no geographic limitation!

Personal Computer Club of Toronto

The PCCT is a club of PC users in Toronto, Canada, who share their experiences and help each other to get the most out of their computers and stay informed about new technologies.

PCCT is made up of many different people from power users who make their living using their computers, to the majority of us, who like computers but need help in determining what to do, what to buy and how to use. We all have one thing in common; a desire to network with people to help us understand, and encourage us in discovering more about personal computers, and gaining exposure to emerging technologies. Refresh Events

Refresh Events is a Toronto Interactive Media Usergroup, whose express purpose is to create collaborative partnerships, foster education at all skill levels and create networking opportunities.

Refresh Events meets at the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto on the 3rd Monday of each month from 7-10pm.

Sarnia Computer Users Group

Sarnia Computer Users' Group, commonly known as SCUG, is a non-profit organization formed in May 1982 to promote, encourage and assist in the understanding of Personal Computers at work and at home.

They serve as a resource to assist members in the use of computers, software and peripherals.

Meetings are held at the Adult Learning Center, 660 Oakdale Avenue in Sarnia on the last Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm.

Toronto Delphi User Group

The Toronto Delphi User Group is dedicated to the professional development of its members in the area of Delphi Windows programming.

If you're interested in joining an organization committed to the professional development of its members; in networking with your peers and in seeing and learning the very best that today's technology has to offer, then you cannot do better than TDUG.

Toronto Extreme Programming Methodology (XP) Users Group

The XP Toronto Users Group is a group of people in the Toronto, Canada area who are interested in the Extreme Programming methodology. The group is run by Mike Bowler of Gargoyle Software and Bryan Zarnett of the Redhook Group. It was founded in the summer of 2000 and has been meeting steadily since then.

The group meets once a month except for the summer months of July and August. Typically we meet on the third Tuesday of the month at a location downtown that is convenient for both TTC and GO Train commuters. Past meetings have been held at Caseys (Front and University) and Pizza Hut (College and Yonge) although we're always on the lookout for a better location.

Toronto Geeks

Toronto Geeks is a group local to Toronto, Canada. Its members share an interest in UNIX, programming, gaming, fun, and decidely do not take themselves too seriously.

The Toronto Geeks Mailing List is a fun community that splintered off from a local UNIX geeks mailing list. The mailing list may include any number of topics ranging from: UNIX, Programming, Gaming, Fun, and whatever else you think is relevant to a group of geeks in the General Toronto Area.

Toronto Java Users Group

Toronto Java Users Group, formed in 1996 to facilitate the exchange of Java knowledge amongst Toronto area software developers. We are an independent non-profit, volunteer run organization that has flourished since the early days of Java.

Our membership roster currently exceeds 1300 individuals (over 100 of whom attend our meetings) with various interests and levels of expertise in Java. Newcomers to Java are encouraged to join our group - it's a great way to meet others that may help reduce your learning time.

Toronto Linux User Group

Membership consists of people who have an interest in Linux and wish to exchange information and ideas with other like minded individuals.

TLUG is made up of many different people, from programmers and technicians who make their living as information technology professionals, to people who have no computer experience whatsoever. We all have one thing in common: a desire to network with others to help us understand, encourage us to explore the varied aspects, and to gain exposure to diverse and emerging Linux technologies.

Toronto Oracle Users Group

TOUG is a non-profit organization of dedicated IT professionals. They share a commitment to provide a forum for Oracle technology knowledge exchange among the members, as well as an opportunity for Oracle users in the Greater Toronto area to network, learn, and discuss issues pertinent to their professions.

Toronto Perl Mongers

The Toronto Perl Mongers is a group of Perl programmers and hackers of all levels who get together to drink and eat and chat about Perl.

Toronto PET Users Group

TPUG is the best and second oldest Commodore computer club, founded in 1978. It supports nearly all Commodore computers, including the PET, SuperPET, CBM, B128/256/1024, VIC 20, C64, C128, Plus/4, C16, C65 and Amiga, and including the COMAL, CP/M and GEOS environments. TPUG is a non-profit organization run by volunteers and is based in Toronto with members around the world.

Meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month, September to June at 7:30 p.m. Meeting location is 44 Delma Drive, Toronto.

Toronto PostgreSQL Users Group

The Toronto PostgreSQL Users Group is a regular meetup for people to talk, discuss and share stories about PostgreSQL. New users looking for more information are welcome!

Meetings are on the fourth Monday of each month, starting at 7:30pm. Please check the web site for location.

Toronto Regional AutoCAD Exchange

The purpose of TRACE is to exchange AutoCAD knowledge, to represent Toronto Region AutoCAD users, to develop its members into industry leaders, and to expand and improve CAD practice.

We presently have bi-monthly meetings usually held on the last Tuesday of the month. We also have two Special Interest Groups. One is called the Solid Modeling User Group (SMUG) and the other is for those people interested in AutoLISP, we have a group called the Productivity Enhancement Group (PEG).

The TSSUG is a non-profit technical forum for people who work with Microsoft SQL Server. The group provides people with a common place to network with peers, share ideas and information as well as keep current with changes taking place in SQL Server development.

Toronto Visual Basic User Group

The Toronto Visual Basic User Group is dedicated to the development of its members in Visual Basic and related technologies. TVBUG welcomes developers of all skill levels to its meetings and strives to make the content we present interesting and informative for experts and beginners alike.

UNIX Unanimous

Unix Unanimous is an informal gathering of people interested in Unix and related topics. There are no fees or membership requirements, and the meeting is open to all. Participants typically include Unix professionals, students, and hobbyists.

Waterloo Wellington IT Pro User Group

WWITPRO is a non-profit forum for IT people who work with Microsoft server technologies.
